no. Your minutes are still used.
No. Unless you put a price on google having all of your call/sms data.
It's a web-based pbx. You can forward calls from your gv number to another number to protect your "private" number. You can block certain callers from calling you based on predefined rules. You can send sms messages through gv over your data plan instead of your texting plan (for example, i don't have a texting plan anymore because i barely use data). These are just a few examples of how gv can work for you.
thanks! This is what i was looking for!

It was surprising not to see an iPhone among their several phone categories.

Meh. Canadian airsoft are required by law to be transparent. I don't have one, but they look very cheap compared to black ones, even if the insides are the same.

I see people talking about just buying an Air and returning it. What exactely is the policy if they buy online? Are these people paying restocking fees for simply returning an Air??

Wow, this is really taking off!
There has to be more than just those songs for only one rec' though, right? Have you considered a separate page to list them all and just have 10 or so there in the sidebar?

I turn AdBlock off for MR but this ad is too much.
It's a roll-over that expands. It's way too sensitive and expands all the time. I don't have a URL but it was happening all day to me at work.

First, I'm sorry this is in the wrong forum. I looked around a bit and couldn't find anything directly related and guess the Mac Pro forum would be a good place to start. If this thread needs to be moved thats just fine.
I'm about to jump on the bandwagon and start a development project. What I'm looking for is a simple development platform that will help me to simply develop the project and use it on as a web application, iphone and android app, and ideally to have a desktop version for pc and mac. File storage would be through Amazon.
I'm willing to tackle a project but I think its best to start with the right tools. Any tips?

Guys, MBP is a week old and the battery health is 97%. Its a week old. Had 8 battery load cycles. Design capacity is 6900mAh and I'm at 6723mAh.
Normal or am I just being a freak?
And I've tried to calibrate like 3 times. Can you over calibrate? What am I to do? Rumour geniuses please inform. lol.

Anyone know how to get the best quality feed from my Mac's Nvidia GT120 into a Blackmagic Intensity Pro card in a PC?
Just adapting DVI > HDMI and going into the Blackmagic's HDMI in does not work because the Blackmagic apparently only supports "broadcast resolutions" (I called them and asked).
What's the best way to split a feed out of my Mac that is either a broadcast resolution or the best way to convert a computer resolution (much more than broadcast) to one that can go into the Intensity Pro?
The Mac should detect the HDMI device as an HDTV, and offer you resolutions of 720p, 1080i, and/or 1080p. If you select one of the specific "HD" resolutions, and not random other resolutions (even the seemingly identical 1280x720 and 1920x1080!) it should work.
Also, make sure your refresh rate is 60 or 30 Hz.

Hey guys
I have 2 Western Digital NAS drives attached to an Airport Extreme and shared via AFP.
The AE connects to a Powerline system and is picked up in another room by my Mac Mini.
Everything was working fine until I bought my new AE.
Now i can only see the drives on my Mac Pro (connected by ethernet to AE) and not the Mac Mini. The Mac Mini can browse the web so there's no connection problem between the AE and the mini.
Are there some settings on the AE i need to change??
Help would be greatly appreciated!

I replaced the ATV2 on my Living Room TV with a 2009 mac mini to use Plex on that TV. The video quality looks alot better with the same video files with the ATV2 compared to the mini running out a display port to HDMI jack into HDMI on the set. Now some of it could be the playback quality of Plex itself, but is there anything I could do to get the output closer to the ATV? The mini is running at res 1080p out to an Onkyo Reciever the TX606 into the TV. The ATV was also going the same route.

Can someone please confirm for me what the stock hard drive was for the Powerbook 1.5Ghz 12" that was released in January of this year? That is to say NOT the new 12" with the 80GB drive...but I think it was a 60GB? I'm not sure but if someone could let me know exactly the type of HD, speed, capacity and manufacturer I'd be greatful! Thanks.

Hi All,
I'm contemplating jumping to a MBP and would need to sell my current MB to make it happen.
It's a white C2D dual-core 2.0GHz, 80GB HD, 3GB RAM with box, discs, etc. all in like-new condition (battery at 96% health with less than 50 cycles). I also would be including a 13" iLap stand, mini-to-DVI adapter, and an extra Apple AC adapter (I like to leave one in my computer room and have another to travel with).
mac2sell shows the MB alone at $1040 or so. I was thinking $1000 + $50 shipping for the entire package. Does that sound reasonable? High/low?
Thanks,
Mike

The new iMacs use at least these CPUs:
i5 (Intel Core™ i5-2400 Processor ) and i7 (Intel Core™ i7-2600 Processor)
The i5 Desktop CPUs are quad core and have one thread per core.
The i7s are quad core two, but have two threads per core.
Maybe this can help: http://ark.intel.com/ProductCollection.aspx?familyID=42912&MarketSegment=DT
And here are some benchmarks: http://www.tomshardware.com/reviews/sandy-bridge-core-i7-2600k-core-i5-2500k,2833.html
